Langtang Gosaikunda Trekking is one another exciting trekking trails in the Langtang region. During the trekking in this region, the visitors can have superb views of Himalayas including of Langtang lirung, Dojre lakpa, Gaurishanker, Rolwaling himalayan range, Langtang Himalayan range and Annapurna mountain range and explore the holy lake called Gosainkund, so as explore the Tibetan monasteries along with unique other unique landscapes in the area.
Langtang/ Gosainkunda TrekkingThe Langtang Gosainkund trekking begins with one day drive from Kathmandu to Syabru Bensi or Dhunchhe, then the trekking continues through larch and rhododendron forests which is rich in wild flowers and birds, and finally reaches at the holy lake area called Gosaikunda and the trekking continues to Helambu via the Laurebina pass (4610m). In between, you can enjoy with the stunning views of Mt. Manaslu, Ganesh Himal and the Annapurna massif. Subsequently, the trekking descends down from the upper Langtang Valley, retracing the route gets back to Syabru village then continues crossing Gosainkund pass (4610m. Similarly, the trail continues and leads to the Helambu valley then proceeds to Tharapati, Tarkeghyang, Sermathang to Melamchi pul bazaar then finally return back to Kathmandu by private vehicle or by public bus.
