The trip is specially focused in Village Life. You will experience the life of villagers. Dhading itself the most famous name for cultural tour and due to its diversified land structure with varying culture. Dhading is near to the capital Kathamndu but is away from modern amenities and developmental disturbance hence it is also called “shade under the lamp”. During the trip you will view the range of great Himalayas including Mt. Ganesh Himal. It can be equally enjoyed by retired seniors with some fitness so can walk in the mountain, students of college and schools and others.

The village life is the most attractive to those who love nature and natural beauty of living. It is also an art of living where people enjoy with what they have and work one for all and all for one. This trip will be good for those who seek to see traditional agriculture life and the lifestyle of those people. Village life is made amazing even by the clear view of mountains like Ganesh Himal, Manasalu range and other Himalayan ranges which appears in different shapes and marks as an animal so gives the figure of our feelings. Great variation on landscape is another attraction which makes our walk easier.

Shreeban Nature Camp offers several of activities.

Rock Climbing (seasonal) with walk, cultural tour and trekking there is something more for those who seek adventure: rock climbing which is unique in Shreeban. The vertical rock at the South west of the camp is all equipped for adventure seekers. Rocks are fitted with piton and ropes. Climbing equipments are available at our office in shreeban.

Nature trek:

Early morning walk to Siddheswar hill top shrine and surrounding dense forest hillside allows you witness the sun kissed Himalayan range on the northern distance horizon. The rhododendron forest will look beautiful if you are there during February to March.

Bird watching:

The shreeban forest is rich for avifauna from where some rare birds enters in your checklist -both resident and migratory which arrive from Siberia in the gurgling streams and lakes of Nepal some chooses the tree tops, some in the terrestrial bank of river and rivulet.

Ethnic village tour:

There are 4 - 5 different ethnic communities in the village of Nalang. They are mainly Newar, Brahmin, Magar, Kami (black smith) and Damai (tailor). All these communities live separately occupying their own status and are mainly farmers. Visit to these entire villages will give you the ideas of their identity. We visit their house and your guide will explain about their culture and rituals, which are very interesting.

Possible trekking routes:

Various treks can be organized through Nalang entering Shreeban forest on request, viz: trek to Gorkha Palace, trek to Royal Chitwan National Park following the old salt trade route to India, trek to Ganga - Jamuna water fall following the old trade route to Tibet.

Detail Itinerary

Day 01 :By Bus Countryside drive through Prithivi high way which is 90 km North-West of Kathamndu and is only 3 hours drive from major cities of Nepal like Kathmandu, Pokhara and Chitwan. Bus ride terminates at the village Bungche where our representative will meet you and after short briefing we start walking up hill passing through terrace fields and country home side. It takes approximately 2-3 hours easy walk to Nalang Village. Stay overnight at a local house in the village.
