Trekking to Kanchenjunga circuit is one another most loved and most demanded trekking destinations among the clients of Nepal Adventure Bound. Mt. Kanchenjunga (8586 m), the third highest mountain in the world, lies in the border of Nepal and Sikkim (India). It is one of the unspoiled trekking trails awaiting you to come and explore its area.

Kanchenjunga circuit (North South Base Camp) trekking. The trekking to the north base camp offers an astonishing views of varieties of landscapes, unique cultures and panoramic views of four highest peaks of the world including, Mt. Everest, Mt. Lhotse, Mt. Makalu, along with Mt. Kanchenjunga. The difference between Kanchenjunga south base camp trekking and north base camp is that the north base camp trekking offers more magnificent views of the snow capped Himalayas, varied landscapes from the subtropical lowlands to the spectacular glacial plateaus, enchanting forests of rhododendrons and abundance of wildlife which includes the famous muck deer and blue sheep etc.

Kanchenjunga circuit trekking begins with flight from Kathmandu to Biratnagar and subsequently flight to Suketar, then the trail continue to Ghunsa and the trail leads to Kunjar, Ma Manikhe, Chitre, Tseram, lapsang and finally reach at Ramze and Kanchanjunga north base camp, exploring the area, the trail descends down to Tseram, then it heads on to Lakep, Ramtang, Lhonak, Khangpachen, Phere, Amjilosa, Tapethok, Lingkhim and finally reach at Suketar from there you will catch plane to Biratnagar and then to Kathmandu.

Day to Day Itinerary

Day 01 :Arrival in Kathmandu Airport welcome by Adventure Bound members than transfer to Hotel

Day 02 :Trek preparation, Please note that you need to be in Kathmandu at least one day in advance as we could only issue the special permit while we have your original passport.

Day 03 :Kathmandu to Biratnagar by flight again by bus to Taplejung (1441m) 9- 10 hrs

Day 04 :Suketar to Kunjari (1,928m) 6- 7 hrs

Day 05 :Trek to Keswa (2100m)

Day 06 :Trek to Mamanke (2000m)

Day 07 :Trek to Yamphudin (1650m)

Day 08 :Trek to Lamite jungle camp (2920m)

Day 09 :Trek to Torontan (3080m)

Day 10 :Trek to Tseram (3750m)

Day 11 :Trek to Ramche (4360m)

Day 12 :Ramche – Exploration full day sight seeing

Cost Exclude

  • International airfare to and from Kathmandu.
  • Nepal entry visa you can obtain a visa easily upon your arrival at Tribhuwan International Airport in Kathmandu. (A multiple-entry tourist visa good for 30 days can be obtained by paying US $ 40 or equivalent foreign currency. Similarly, multiple-entry tourist visas for 90 days can be obtained by paying US $ 100. Please bring 2 copies of passport-size photos and cash for visa.)
  • Your travel and rescue insurance (compulsory).
  • Personal expenses (Wifi (if any), laundry, bar bills, battery recharge, extra porters, bottle or boiled water, shower etc).
  • Extra hotel stays and meals due to unforeseeable circumstances, such as flight cancellations/delays, bad weather conditions etc,
