Kanchenjunga Trekking

Kanchenjunga Trekking is a trip to one of the remote areas of Nepal. It is a border region of Nepal and India. Kanchenjunga literally means Five Great Treasuries of the Snow. It has got five summits for which the peak is known as the queen of the mountains and the third highest mountain in the world with the height of 8586 meters. Kanchenjunga trekking route goes through the isolated indigenous communities once it begins from Suketar airstrip. The trail is off-the-beaten and the landscape is awesome. Kanchenjunga National Park bounds the region, which has got flourishing flora and fauna. Heading through Sakathum, Amjilosa, Ghunsa, you reach to Pangpema, which is the Northern base camp of Mt. Kanchenjunga. You can witness the dazzling peaks of Mt. Kanchenjunga circuit trek is more adventurous that crosses three high passes as Sinion La (4440m), Mirgin La (4480m) and Sinelapche Bhanjyang (4646m). Descending through the terraced meadows and the torrent of Tamur and Ghunsa River, you conclude your trek at Suketar and fly back to Kathmandu.
