What are the transportation mediums used during this trek?
- The 5 Day PoonHill Trek begins with a 30-minute flight from Kathmandu to Pokhara. From Pokhara, Adventure Bound arranges a drive to Nayapul (the starting point of the trek) in a private car. The returning drive from Ghandruk to Pokhara will be done via jeep and then the trekkers will return from Pokhara to Kathmandu in a tourist bus.
Is a trekking permit mandatory for the PoonHill Trek?
- Yes, the trekkers must have three permits to go on this 5-day PoonHill trek adventure and they are the Trekkers' Information Management System, Annapurna Conservation Area Entry Permit, and PoonHill Viewpoint Entry Permit.
Is it necessary to take a guide for this easy trek as well?
- Yes, the Nepal Government and the Trekking Agency Association do not have any intention to compromise the safety and well-being of the trekkers. Therefore, trekkers must be accompanied by professional, licensed, and seasoned guides for the 5 Day PoonHill Trek as well.
Is there any chance of altitude sickness during the 5 Day PoonHill Trek?
- No, the risk of altitude sickness is the bare minimum in the 5 Day PoonHill Trekking route. However, you might suffer from altitude sickness if you ascend at a higher pace, do not control your diet, and if you have any serious illness related to breathing.
What are the conditions of internet and electricity on the trail?
- All the hotels, lodges, and guesthouses offer proper internet and electricity facilities 24/7 to the trekkers. However, the internet's speed might not be as good as expected in the higher regions.
Will I be refunded if I cancel the trip at the last moment?

Can I hit this trail in the winter season as well?
- Yes, if you are a professional trekker and want some adventure and thrill, you can ascend this trail even in the winter season. You can book the package with us because booking will be open throughout the year with Adventure Bound.
