About Ganesh Himal Trek

Ganesh Himal Trekking is a unique trekking in the central part of Nepal, wonderfully located between the Langtang and Manaslu range. The region is remotely located and offers the untouched cultural attractions. You trek through the ethnic communities and can enjoy the remarkable hospitality, which is incredible.

Trek through the Ganesh Himal route begins from the Lower altitude range of the Nuwakot. It goes through the pine and rhododendron forest, meadows and passing various ethnic and mixed communities. The trail is still undisturbed and people love to walk through, who love less trafficked trail. The Singla Pass (4200 meters) is the highest altitude of the trail that offers the challenge and makes it more adventurous. The Himalayan views of Ganesh Himal V, Ganesh Himal II, Langtang Li Rung (7,225m), Paldor Langtang, Bouddha Himal, and Hiunchuli can be seen awesome. Walking through the alpine meadows and steep trail, the second half trail is almost descending and covers some of the picturesque villages of the Dhading district. The basic tea houses have made the trek fabulous.

Welcome to Nepal. You will be greeted by the representative of Adventure Bound Nepal and transferred to the hotel. In the evening, we give you a short briefing about the trip overview. Overnight at hotel.  

     We set out for the sightseeing in Kathmandu after the breakfast. Visiting Pashupatinath, Boudhanath and Swayambhunath, you can have a unique idea about the cultural knowledge and about the religiosity. Then back to the hotel and prepare for the trek. Overnight at hotel. 

      We take a drive after the breakfast in Kathmandu. The Highway drive is far more exciting to get the picturesque scenery. Today's drive is a mixed from easy and the wide road to the bumpy road drive. From Betrawati, we trek to Chhap Danda, passing some villages for a while. Overnight at lodge.   

        We begin the trek after breakfast. The lower altitude trek is easy and goes through the gentle trail. The trail is populated by the mixed habitants, from ethnic to Brahmin and Dalit groups. You can visit the local Hindu temples. Having lunch on the way, we trek further to the Bhanche village, populated by the ethnic Tamang group, who are the Buddhist devotees. Overnight at lodge. 

          From Bhalche, we move forward after the breakfast.the trail goes through the jungle and crossing the bridge over some of the tiny streams. We reach to the wide meadow, named Thulo Chaur. We can see the temporary huts for the cattle grazing. Heading through the rhododendron forest, we reach to Gonga, enjoying the Himalayan views of the Langtang region. Overnight at lodge.  

            The enticing Himalayas of the Langtang region delights the early morning. After the breakfast at Rupchet, we begin to walk through the pine and rhododendron forest. The trail is steep uphill and we have lunch on the way. It's quite close to Rupchet and we reach there early. It is also regarded as the base of Singla Pass. Overnight at lodge. 

              As we are entering into the alpine valleys, acclimatization is needed. After the breakfast, we walk around Rupchet and get the astounding views of the Himalayas. Then we retrace to the lodge and enjoy the afternoon. Overnight at lodge. 

                We begin our trek early in the morning to enjoy the sunrise panorama from the top of Sign La. The golden view of the snowy peaks is breathtaking, including Ganesh Himal, Annapurna, Manaslu and Langtang range. Then we trek down to the Phedi, through the rhododendron forest. Overnight at tented camp. 

                  Another high pass on the Ganesh Himal trekking route. After the breakfast, we begin to climb up to the Pansang La Pass, located at 4,000 meters. With a preparation, we cross the pass, that offered the challenge, but with acclimatization, we can deal with the task. The Himalayas can be seen stunning, including Manaslu, Ganesh Himal and others. Overnight at tented camp.

                    We take a rest on this alpine region. The surroundings are incredible. It's time to take abundant photographs of the untouched Ganesh Himal region. Overnight at tented camp. 

                      After the breakfast, we begin to trek further Via Pansang Kharka. The alpine meadow is dazzling and it extremely entices you. With various up and down trail, we reach to Lawadund and ascend to the Tipling village, which is a typical village, populated by the ethnic Tamang people. Overnight at lodge. 

                        After the breakfast at Sertung, we head ascending above the Gumbatole and reach to Kami Gaon. The picturesque village and the wonderful setting of the nature is awesome. Then we trek down to Sertung via Sekpar Danda and take a rest. Overnight at lodge. 

                          It's time to trek down after the breakfast. We walk steadily and pass via Abuigaon. Passing the junction near Borang, we continually trek down via Ranmen and ultimately reach to Chhapchet. The trail is steep and slippery that include the rock falling area. Overnight at lodge. 

                            From Chhapchet after the breakfast, we commence trek down via Chyamthali and Kokhim to Kalamarang. Walking continually via Sangyung, we descend to Singang. Via Bhoteni, finally we reach to Darkha, one of the busiest place on the surroundings. Overnight at lodge. 

                              After the breakfast at Darkha, we walk through the terraced hillside, continually to the Riverside. Then we ascend towards the hillside and almost the trail goes through the forest. The cultivating land and begins walking through it, we reach to Lapang and rest. Overnight at lodge. 

                                 From Lapsang, we begin to trek down to Khahare after the breakfast. Passing through the ethnic and mixed communities, the trek involves several ups and down. This last day trek ends at Khahare with a short walk. Overnight at lodge. 

                                  After breakfast, we take drive to Kathmandu for 7-8 hours. Enjoying the impressive views of the terraced fields, River, Himalayas and the lush hills, we arrive ins Kathmandu and transfer to the hotel. This amazing trip will be a remarkable experience. Overnight at hotel.

                                     According to the time of your flight, our Airport representative drops you to the International Airport for your final departure. Thank you for joining us for your trekking in Nepal. See you again.
