Nagarkot is 32 Kilometers from Kathmandu and at the height of 2,211 m. If weather is good, people can see the great views of Himalayas including Annapurna, Langtang, Dorje Lakpa, Gauri Shankar, Ganesh Himal and the roof of the world – Mount Everest.

We drive from Kathmandu to the Sankhu east edge of the Kathmandu valley for about one and a half hours by private transport and start to hike through the ancient village and temples. The trail gradually ascends along the sacred Sali Nadi (river), village, rice terrace, jungle, and beautiful mountain views to the Kattike village. Another an hour walking you get in Nagarkot enjoy the sunset view and its offer magnificent & panoramic views of many Himalayan ranges including the 8,848 meters’ top of the world Mt. Everest. Among many incredible beauties of Nagarkot Sunrise and Sunset views over mountains is one of the best. Stay overnight at the hotel in Nagarkot.

    After enjoying the sunset and sunrise from the hilltop of Nagarkot, early morning we will trek down the ancient route to Changunarayan via the small Newari town. Changu Narayan temple is one of the artistic temples and it is also one of the world heritage sites. From there, we will drive about one hour back to Kathmandu.
