Yes, we suggest the trekkers carry the extra amount of money (NPR) during the ABC short trek because you can use that money to buy different items, souvenirs, food, and drinks during the trail.
Is there any acclimatisation day during the 5 Day Annapurna Base Camp Trek?
No, this particular trekking route in the Annapurna region does not have any acclimatisation or rest day at all.
Does the package cost include both the guide and Porter's cost?
No, the package cost only includes the overall cost of guides. However, if you need a porter, you need to make extra payments on a per-day basis.
Can I go for the 5 Day Annapurna Base Camp Trek without a professional guide?
No, since April 1, 2023, the Nepal Government has completely restricted access to any trekking routes without a government-licensed, professional, and seasoned guide.
Is it possible for me to customise the trekking package and add days to the itinerary?
You can certainly customise the package but if you want to add days to the ABC trek, we recommend you book either the 8-day or 10-day version of this trekking package.
Is there a risk of altitude sickness during the short ABC Trek?
Yes, as the route takes us to the altitude of 4130 metres above sea level and there is also no acclimatisation day throughout the package, trekkers might be attacked by altitude sickness.
